With so many alterations done to the script in order to fit within the framework of 3 minutes and not exceed this watermark, I've finally completed the script. This is the crucial step in order to start visualizing the scenes around every piece of dialogue based on the tone, atmosphere, as well as the mood of the character. Tedious and long-winded monologues have been removed in order to preserve the sake of comedy, for too many "verbose" sentences spoil the simplicity of the situation. Upon this, simultaneously, as I already had the rough version of the story in my head since summer I did the designs of the characters. I had not been spending much time designing the appearance of every character in an overly-scrutinizing way as I'm certain plenty of animators do. This is because ultimately their faces and expressions would change massively in-between respective scenes due to the flexible comedic nature of my animation that all I needed to embed in them is a sense of visual "character", ironically. However, experimentation with the drawing aesthetic was more than necessary considering that it is a frame-by-frame animation. In order to eliminate any off-lines and assure sturdiness of character, my aesthetic evolved to revolve around the color in between the initial lines being the character, with every supporting color being everything beneath. In other words, the lines after serving their purpose of outlining the character get removed, which also gets rid of my fixation with black outlines in characters.
